Slow down for the Moment

Presently in this age and time, life seems to move at light speed. Folks are coming and going, rushing from one activity to the next with blinders on. Not really noticing the moments they experience at all . Once they have arrived at one activity they are already thinking about the next activity and so on. The reason I bring this up is simple, life is made up of moments and we are missing them.

This can be due to a number of different factors; work, school, house chores, kids, etc. We all have action items, projects, appointments, busy work and what have you. But life is not merely a checklist waiting to be completed, it's a journey of experiences, moments and a myriad of wondrous things, and guess what? You're in the drivers seat.

So I ask you to take your foot off the gas, slow down and notice the world around you. Notice each moment, be present and try living life in the moment for a change. You will be amazed at what you have been missing.
